Neutral Spin

Neutral spin is done for the cue ball to stop immediately after hitting an object ball. It is done by hitting just below the center of the cue ball and can only be hit there; it can be moved slightly to the left or right depending to the angle however is usually done on straight shots, when it isn't straight you should use one of the other spin techniques in order to bounce of the railing to gain the position you want. The amount of power matters in how much you want the cue ball to travel while spinning, therefore if it's farther you should put more power in order to keep a static status rather than having a spin caused by friction. If the object ball you are hitting is far, it would be best if you hit it lower than usual as by the time it reaches the object ball, the friction from the cloth would have caused the cue ball to transform slowly into a top/forward spin.
